NC Conservation Network
GroupThe Conservation Network, from 2003-2013, received almost sixty-two percent of its grant funds from the radical liberal Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and has since become one of the premier radical political environmental groups in North Carolina. The Conservation Network has ties to other environmental extremists groups like Southern Environmental Law Center, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, Natural Resources Defense Council, and NC Environmental Justice Network, just to name a few global warming/climate change extremists.
The NC Conservation Network was one of the extremist environmental groups that claimed to belong to a new organization (North Carolina Environmental Partnership – NCEP) that was used as a front group to attack legislators who support hydraulic fracturing (fracking) in North Carolina during the 2014 General Election.
The ads that were supposedly bought by NCEP targeted six NC state legislators with messages attacking hydraulic fracturing. All the ads indicated they had been “paid for” by a new group, the North Carolina Environmental Partnership (NCEP). The problem is neither “the North Carolina Environmental Partnership” nor “the NCEP” really exists.
The NC Conservation Network is a member of the following MTL networks: Democracy NC, Moral Mondays,Together NC and Blueprint NC. It was a founding member of Blueprint NC the notorious group best known for the 2013 strategy memo that directed their members to “eviscerate, mitigate, litigate, cogitate and agitate” the state’s leadership.
