NC Child

Group

NC Child – formerly Action for Children NC and the Covenant with NCs Children, is an advocacy and lobbying group that conducts research and provides analysis that “provide(s) the public and policymakers with sound information on which to base policy decisions.”

The Covenant with NC’s Children was a membership-based organization composed of more than 50 service providers, professional associations, and other advocacy groups who worked together to take action on issues. According to NC Child’s website, Covenant employed a full-time lobbyist who played a major role in tackling the most important public policy decisions facing children.

NC Child has preserved the Covenant’s collaborative work – many of the Covenant’s members belong to the Blueprint NC network. Blueprint NC is the notorious organization that is responsible for the strategy member that directed their members to eviscerate the legislative leadership in 2013.

NC Child has also chosen to partner with the liberal and very political Z Smith Reynolds, Democracy NC, Together NC and Moral Monday MTL networks.
