NC Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty

Group

Formerly known as NC Coalition for a Moratorium, the NC Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, work for restorative justice — ending the death penalty. They believe the death penalty is ineffectual and believe that tough alternatives such as life without parole and programs that force inmates to pay restitution for their crimes is true justice.  They are members of Blueprint NC – the group best known for their 2013 strategy memo directing member groups to eviscerate the state’s leadership.
