Planned Parenthood South Atlantic

Planned Parenthood South Atlantic is the NC branch of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, a pro-abortion organization that provides reproductive health services. The organization has 14 North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia locations. In 2017 North Carolina had 29,500 abortions performed.

Their lobbying arm Planned Parenthood Votes South Atlantic, focuses on abortion advocacy. It has also worked on other issues, including opposing an anti-rioting bill (HB 805 “Prevent Rioting and Civil Disorder) and requiring that local law enforcement cooperate with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) (SB 101 “Require Cooperation with ICE 2.0.”

Planned Parenthood endorses candidates, mostly Democrats. It also conducts get out the vote efforts.
